Arriving at Lester B. Pearson International Airport (YYZ)

From the airport you can take the go bus/train, taxi, shuttle service, or rent a car.  Information is given [here].

You can use the Go-Transit planner [here].  Select “Toronto Pearson International Airport, MISSISSAUGA (Transportation)” as your starting/ending location.  To McMaster University, select “Toronto Pearson International Airport, MISSISSAUGA (Transportation)” as your ending/starting location.  Most hotels in Hamilton will also be listed.

Via shuttle

Book a shuttle directly to your hotel on Airways Transit. (About $88.00)

via car (to McMaster)

  1. Travel westbound on the QEW or Highway 407.
  2. Exit to Highway 403 to downtown Hamilton
  3. Exit Highway 403 at the Main Street West off ramp.
  4. Turn left onto Main Street West and follow to McMaster University.

Arriving at John C. Munroe International Airport (YMH)

From the airport you can take a bus, taxi, or rent a car.  Information is given [here].

You can use the HSR bus-planner [here] with first stop as “John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport”.

via car (to McMaster)

  1. Exit the airport onto Highway 6 north, which connects to Highway 403.
  2. Take Highway 403 Eastbound (toward Toronto) and exit at Aberdeen Avenue exit.
  3. Turn left at first traffic signal and proceed along Longwood Road.
  4. Turn left onto Main Street West and follow to McMaster University.
